CONCERTED steps are needed to protect basic human rights, equality, peace and social justice and achieve sustainable social development. We also need to create awareness on trust-based relations among people of all religions. We have to empower the people at the grass-roots so that they can fight for their fundamental religious, political, economic and legal rights which are essential for equality, justice and peace. The people have to be empowered to maintain inter-religious harmony and tolerance and strengthen the community.
