No harm in taking international help

THERE is no shame in taking generous international help when confronted with a natural disaster which may partly or fully overwhelm national capacities. Even the developed and fast developing countries in the world, take international assistance when they suffer natural calamities.
Therefore, all concerned would expect that the government would request the international community to extend all sorts of assistance to provide support and help to the distressed people. The flood victims would not discriminate where from they get assistance. When government's help to them is found to be inadequate, then why these very distressed people should be barred from taking international help on such excuses like national honour and dignity. This is really insensible.
