Payment of BTCL land phone bills

BTCL has recently authorised many branches of both private and public banks to receive telephone bills. But the name of the authorised bank branches that will receive payments have not been mentioned on the bills.
BTCL has neither specified the areas and nor the number of telephones. As a result the telephone owners are facing trouble in submitting the bills. Very often the bank branches are refusing to accept the bill stating that it is not the authorised branch.
The subscribers are moving from one branch to another like a shuttle cock. Besides, there are areas where there is no bank branch. For example, the telephone subscribers of Kalabaghan having 811… digits have no bank branch for submission of the bill. I urge the authorities concerned to look in to the matter.
