Role of European Union

RECENTLY the European Union (EU) has again come up with another piece of unsolicited advice to our government to restore democracy etc., and not to involve our armed forces in the governance of the country. Is it not a blatant interference in the internal affairs of another country? Does the EU have mandate in its constitution to do so?
As appears now it has become a habit for the EU to pour pieces of such unsolicited advice on our government which are not at all welcome. Certainly we have not appointed them as our advisor to tell how to govern our country. They should understand we are fully capable of running our own business and any kind of such interference or dictation from them is totally unacceptable. Regarding their reference to our armed forces, I would like to note that they have taken oath to protect the country from the external as well as any internal threat. They are not mercenaries like those of European countries whose soldiers as invading forces are now engaged in widespread crime against humanity in the form of mass destruction in other sovereign countries and looting of their wealth.
Frankly we are fed up with such unsolicited advice and the practice only give rise to an unfriendly attitude towards this organisation in Bangladesh. Therefore, the early this practice is stopped the better for them. My humble and sincere request to them is to mind their own business.
