SEC takes initiatives to reduce rumour based trading
March 28, 2010 00:00:00
SEC issued letter to brokerage houses not to encourage small and medium investors by spreading rumours to do trade. This kind of supervision is really appreciable. From last few weeks trading of DSE and CSE is in a bearish trend. General index and total transaction declined due to some initiatives taken by SSE earlier.
This declining market heavily impacts on small and medium investors' portfolios. Specially most small investors do not have that much analytical knowledge about the share market; they just follow rumours and are often impressed and influenced by brokerage house people. This kind of SEC initiative can really help save the small and medium investors. One important thing is every investor should know about his portfolio from where they can use their money and bring a good result from share market.
