The export outlook

Our products sell well in the global market, including the US and Europe. The exports from eight EPZs increased to US$ 2581.70 million in fiscal 2008-2009 from $2430 million in fiscal 2007-08. But investment tell to US$ 148.02 million from $302.19 million in fiscal 2007-08.
Despite the global financial crisis, Bangladesh can take the advantage of its labour cost. But we need good corporate policy to make the exporting sectors more competitive and profitable. Forward looking policy and innovation can make Bangladesh more competitive.
