Thought-provoking!

Nerun Yakub's bold article on "Testing fields for old and new weaponry" (June 19) deserve applause. Science is indeed not far from controlling the human mind. Using the various bands of the electromagnetic spectrum to treat diseases is already there. But the terrifying thing is, such a technology can be applied to destroy the human mind too! Who knows whether it is already being used in countries like ours? The war lords may have found a suitable place and a reason to test it !! Add to it the recent development of life science. How do we, the poorer nations counter that ?
Your June 19 issue really is a collector's copy having such thought-provoking articles like the ones on "HAARP" by Ameer Hamza and "The Melamine Story" by Aidit Rahman! We hope to see more articles like these.
