As a fan of Bangladesh National Cricket Team, I was really sad to see my team losing against Sri Lanka. But consolation was there at the end. Bangladeshi players played very hard and surprised cricket experts who had earlier written off Bangladesh. Despite defeat in the second Test match, Bangladeshi players proved that they are fast catching up with cricket and are no more a mere pushover. There was lot of positive things for Bangladeshi cricket in the two Test matches. Ashraful played a masterful innings of 190 in the first match. Captain Mushfiq became the first batsman for Bangladesh to score a double century in a Test match. Playing Test matches requires patience, grittiness and iron will of the players. Even a cricket fanatic of Bangladesh cricket, like me, didn't expect much from the Test series but the Tigers played well. I wish best of luck to the Tigers for their upcoming one-day series against Sri Lanka. Masud Rana Dhanmondi, Dhaka
