Shakib emerged as the first Bangladeshi bowler to record a five-wicket haul. His feat came during the match against Afghanistan in the current edition of the World Cup. He conceded 29 runs in 10 overs.
Mustafiz, popularly known as cutter master, took five wickets for 59 runs in 10 overs to restrict mighty Indian for 314/9.
The 23-year-old southpaw from Satkhira started his ODI career against India in Dhaka on June 18, 2015. He had claimed five wickets for 50 runs in his 9.2 overs spell.
In Tuesday's match, he dismissed Indian captain Virat Kohli (26) in 38.2 overs, took his second wicket dismissing Hardik Pandya (0) in the fourth ball of the over.
Mustafiz sent Dinesh Karthik (8) back to the pavilion as his third victim, putting India at 298/6 in 47.2 overs. His fourth wicket was that of MS Dhoni (35) in the last over.
The left-arm bowler completed his five-wicket haul bowling out tail-ender Mohammad Shami (1) in the last ball of 50th over.
It was Mustafiz's fourth five-wicket haul in ODI.
With the day's outstanding performance, Mustafiz advanced to the fifth slot in the list of highest wicket takers in the ongoing World Cup grabbing 15 wickets in seven matches.
In his ODI career, Mustafiz took 98 wickets in 53 matches.
Shakib Al Hasan, Rubel Hossain, and Soumya Sarkar took one wicket each.
