ISLAMABAD, June 29 (Dawn): At least 32 people have been killed in the past two days as heavy rain triggered flash floods in Pakistan, Dawn reports.
Rescue officials and disaster management authorities say the floods have affected four provinces. A day after 17 people lost their lives in rain-related accidents, two more casualties were reported on Saturday in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, reports Dawn.
Charsadda and Shangla saw one death each over the period, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority said. One person drowned in a river in Charsadda as the continuous rain strengthened the downstream flow. Rescue officials later recovered the body.
