Life expectancy growth rate slows due to obesity
SYDNEY, May 21: Australia's average life expectancy is under pressure from rising obesity rates, a study by the University of Melbourne has showed. After increasing rapidly for 20 years, the growth rate of Australian's life expectancy has fallen behind most other high-income countries. Masked assailants kill nine relatives in Nepal village
KATHMANDU, May 21: Nine people in two families were slain by masked assailants in their homes at night in a remote mountain village in Nepal, government official said on Tuesday. Government administrator Murari Wasti said the bodies were found Tuesday morning by neighbors. A 12-year-old girl survived with injuries. The two families were related but lived in separate houses that were near each other. — AP
