Shibalaya Upazila DC Gold Cup champions

MANIKGANJ, Jan 16 (BSS):  Shibalaya Upazila became champion defeating Mankganj Pourasava by 4-3goals in tie-breaker in the final match of the Deputy Commissioner Gold Cup Football Tournament in Manikganj.

The final match was held at the Manikganj Shahid Miraj-Tapan Stadium Friday.

State Minister for Health and Family Welfare Zahid Malek was present at the prize-giving ceremony as the chief guest while Manikganj-1 lawmaker AM Naimur Rahman Durjoy and Manikganj Pourasava mayor Md Ramjan Ali attended the function as the special guests.

Deputy Commissioner of Manikganj Rashida Ferdousi presided over the function.

A total of eight teams participated in the tournament which began on January 7.
