Quake shakes northeastern Bangladesh

An earthquake of 5.4-magnitude on the Richter scale shook northeastern parts of the country including Sylhet on Saturday night. The epicentre of the moderate quake was India-Myanmar bordering region, 318-km east of the Seismic Centre at Bangladesh Metrological Department. The tremor was felt at 11:15 pm Bangladesh time. — UNB
