SAFA confce in Dhaka on Dec 08

A daylong international conference of chief financial officers (CFOs) will begin in the city on December 08.

The CFOs of South Asian Federation of Accountancy (SAFA) Conference is being held with a theme 'The Future of Finance: Digitise, Drive and Transform'.

Representatives from different South Asian countries, including Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, will participate in the event.

Finance Minister AMA Muhith is expected to be present at the event as the chief guest.

The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) will host the event, organisers said in a statement on Wednesday.

Besides, experts will present six papers in three technical sessions.
