Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Sylhet division in the next 24 hours until 06:00 pm today (Tuesday), reports UNB.

Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, Met Office said.

Mild heat wave is sweeping over Rajshahi and Khulna divisions and the regions of Tangail, Dinajpur and Sayedpur.

The country's highest temperature 37.7 degrees Celsius was recorded on Monday in Ishwardi and the lowest 22.4 degrees in Sylhet and Tetulia.
