Agri minister vows zero tolerance against all misdeeds

Agriculture Minister Dr Abdur Razzaque on Monday said the government will continue the drive against all forms of corruption to ensure the development of country, reports UNB.

"Our GDP has grown; we are 20 steps ahead in the (Ease of) Doing Business List... In order to maintain the continuity of development of the country, there will be 'zero tolerance' policy against all misdeeds and corruption," he said.

He made the remarks at a discussion marking the 73rd birth anniversary of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arranged by BB Foundation at Dhaka Reporters' Unity (DRU).

The minister mentioned that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has increased the respect of Bangladeshis worldwide by building Padma Bridge with own finances.
