RAB arrest four 'militants'

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested four active operatives of the militant outfit 'Allah er Dol', also known as 'Allah er Sarkar' in the early hours of Wednesday, reports BSS.

The arrestees are: Sirajul Islam Shahrul Mridha, 38, Moniruzzaman Monir, 40, SM Hafizur Rahman Sagor, 45, and Md Shafiul Moznabin Turin, 27.

A team of RAB-1 detained them in a drive from Dakshinkhan Police Station area of the capital, said Rab-1 Commanding Officer Lt Col Sarwar Bin Kashem in a press conference held at the media centre of RAB in the city's Karwan Bazar area.

The names and details of their identities were yet to be ascertained. However, they claimed themselves as members of 'Allah er Sarkar' organisation to the RAB, said RAB Legal and Media Wings Senior Assistant Director (Senior ASP) Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan.
