Rohingya repatriation should be voluntary, dignified: US

COX'S BAZAR, Nov 11 (UNB): US Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration (Africa and Asia) Richard Albrighton said Sunday the repatriation of Rohingyas should be safe, dignified and voluntary.

While talking to reporters after visiting Ghumdhum transit camp, he said a congenial atmosphere should be created in Rakhine of Myanmar for the Rohingya repatriation.

International human rights organisations and different donor organisations must get unrestricted entry to Rakhine, he said.
