DNCC removes illegal structures at Banasree

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) on Monday conducted an eviction drive in the city to remove illegal structures.

A team, led by DNCC Zonal Executive Officer of Zone-3 and also executive magistrate Md. Hemayet Hossian, conducted the drive and mobile court at the city's Banasree area and evicted more than 350 illegal makeshift shops, said DNCC Public Relations Officer ASM Mamun.

The drive was launched from 10:00am to 1:00 pm of the day on the road of the A Block of Banasree in the area.

The road was freed from illegal occupation and opened for public movement, said Mamun.

The drives and mobile courts will continue to dismantle the illegal establishments from the city, he added.
