Rain or thunder showers likely today

Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Khulna and Sylhet divisions today (Tuesday).

However, weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere across the country, according to the Met Office.

Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country while night temperature may fall slightly over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions.

On the other hand, maximum temperature in Dhaka remained comparatively low at 31 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature at 24.4 degrees on Monday.

The country's highest temperature was recorded at 33.5 degrees Celsius in Sayedpur on the day.
