Day labourer's throat-silt body found in Bagerhat

BAGERHAT, Jan 21 (UNB): Police recovered the throat-silt body of a day labourer from a paddy field at Altiburuj Baria village in Morelganj upazila on Monday morning.

The deceased was identified as Kabul Mollah, 45, son of Goffar Mollah.

Victim's wife Nasima Begum said her husband remained missing since he went out of house around 8pm on Sunday following a phone call.

Locals spotted the body at the paddy field in the morning and informed police, said K M Azizul Islam, officer-in-charge of Morelganj Police Station.
