Promotion of assistant teachers at government primary schools

The government has decided to promote assistant teachers of government primary schools to positions of head teachers or assistant thana education officers. As such, there will be no fresh recruitment for head teacher positions.

State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Md Zakir Hossain declared the decision on May 20. This is good news!

The currently serving assistant teachers will now be more motivated. Many of them have been frustrated as they were stuck in the same position for years. It's likely that there will be increased dynamism among them, following the decision.

The students of the government primary schools will be greatly benefitted once the government implements the decision.
