BNP-Jamaat plot behind recent crime spree: Anisul

Law Minister Anisul Huq said on Monday the recent trends of violent crimes is not just mere accident but immaculate conspiracy hatched by BNP-Jamaat alliance, reports BSS.

"Currently, we are seeing that if any untoward incident takes place, it often gets repeated. Several fire incidents took place right after the recent Chawkbazar fire. Then several rapes took place and now people are getting killed in mob beatings. These are not mere accidents but conspiracy hatched by BNP-Jamaat alliance. So we should remain alert against these," he said.

The law minister came up with the remarks while speaking at the inaugural function of a newly-constructed five-storied district bar council building in Netrakona on Monday.

Presided over by bar council president Sitangsu Bikash Acharja, the function was also addressed by Asim Kumar Ukil, MP, Habiba Rahman Khan Shefali, MP, Prime Minister's Office Secretary Sajjadul Hassan and Directorate of Registration Inspector General Khan Md Abdul Mannan, among others.
