Miscreants gun down JL leader in Rangamati

RANGAMATI, May 20 (UNB): A local Jubo League (JL leader was gunned down by armed terrorists at Naikhongchhora in Rajasthali upazila on Sunday night.

The dead is Kya Hla Ching Marma, president of Bangalhalia ward unit of JL.

Ashraf Uddin, officer-in-charge (OC) of Chandraghona thana, said a gang of terrorist stormed into Chongkla's house around 11:00 pm and opened fire on him, leaving him dead on the spot.

On information, police and army men visited the spot.
