B'desh to take part in Asian Women's H'ball

Bangladesh Women's Handball Team will participate in the 8th Asian Women's Youth Handball Championship-2019, scheduled to be held on August 21-30 at Jaipur, India, reports UNB.

The team will leave Dhaka for India tomorrow (Monday), Bangladesh Handball Federation said in a press release.

This year, ten Asian nations will participate in the ten-day meet.

Bangladesh placed in Group A along with defending Champions South Korea, runners-up Japan, Uzbekistan and Chinese Taipei while Group B comprises hosts India, PR China, Kazakhstan, Nepal and Mongolia.
