PRAN bags $0.5m export order from Brazil

PRAN, a leading food processor in the country, participated at ANUFOOD Fair in Brazil for the first time

PRAN, a leading food processor in the country, participated at ANUFOOD Fair in Brazil for the first time with a view to expanding its market in South America.

The Bangladeshi group secured export orders worth around $0.5 million at ANUFOOD Fair, one of largest beverage and food fairs in the world.

The three-day fair, that took place at Sao Paulo in Brazil, began on March 12, said a statement.

Md Mizanur Rahman, Chief Operating Officer at PRAN Export Limited said, South America is a big market. There is a huge scope to export food items. We have participated in the fair for the first time to utilize the scope. The group displayed its products in 10 categories including Juice, beverage, biscuit, bakery and confectionary.

He also said PRAN products are now available in Bolivia, Venezuela, Ecuador and Surinam. Through the fair, scope has been created to export PRAN products in Chili, Peru, Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil and Columbia.

Kamruzzaman Kamal, Marketing Director of PRAN-RFL Group said, "The main purpose of participating in the exhibition is to expand export market in the Americas. There creates a scope to spread PRAN products across the South America as traders and buyers from the region participate in the fair.

PRAN products are now available in famous super shops across the globe apart from other major brands as we manufacture products maintaining highest quality."
