AI is not threat to research, but a powerful helper, says BRUR VC

RANGPUR, Feb 01 (BSS): Vice-chancellor (VC) of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) said that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is never a threat to research; rather, it is playing a very effective role in improving the research quality and saving time.

"In fact, AI has brought about a radical change in the conventional framework of research and is gradually establishing itself as a powerful helper of academic research," he said.

The VC said this while addressing the inaugural ceremony of the first day of the two-day workshop titled 'Workshop on the Application of AI Tools in Academic Research' held at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering on Sunday as the chief guest.
