Avoiding painkillers during menstruation

October 20, 2021 00:00:00

Women of different ages suffer from cramp during the period of menstruation. Many of them have already become accustomed to taking medicines like painkillers at this time to get relief. Although it provides temporary relief, the long-term use of painkillers can harm a woman's health. This is not a good habit at all because it can hide major diseases like tumour, chocolate cysts, and endometriosis.

According to experts, one should take nutritious food; do housework, exercise and yoga as an alternative to taking medicines during the time of menstruation. If menstrual pain does not last long, they have to drink more water, eat nutritious food, maintain hygiene, and follow health protocols. If the habit of taking medicine is formed, a woman cannot stay without taking medicine, which may eventually increase the risk of becoming a patient of kidney ailments. So, every girl and woman must remain aware of this issue.
