In a country where educational institutions often have shortcomings in regards to what people need in professional fields, to bridge the gap between colleges/universities and professions, Interactive Cares emerged in July 2020. It offers industry-relevant courses on Tech, Data Science, AI, DevOps, Digital Marketing, Business, and Design; CV building, interview preparation, and internship/job placement support; and helps students and companies connect efficiently.
This writer talked with the CEO and founder, the COO, the marketing team, and some of the beneficiaries of Interactive Cares. Rare Al Samir, the founder and CEO of Interactive Cares, said, "While at university, I ran an offline education business, which allowed me to closely observe students and their learning challenges. During this time, I realised a major gap between academia and industry-graduates were struggling to find jobs because universities weren't equipping them with practical, job-ready skills." He added, "I launched Interactive Cares in 2020 with the mission to tackle unemployment by providing structured career paths, skill-based learning, and real job placement opportunities."
With a vision of "empowering two million people with industry-relevant skills, equipping them to secure job opportunities and build successful careers," Rare Al Samir established Interactive Cares. Jamila Bupasha Khushbu, the COO and chairperson of Interactive Cares, added, "This isn't just about numbers, it's about transforming lives, honing inclusive growth, and ensuring talent from all backgrounds can access opportunities that propel both their careers and global innovation."
Rare Al Samir also shares his other experiences which helped Interactive Cares directly and indirectly. "I also served in the Bangladesh Army, where I learned leadership, discipline, and resilience. These lessons have helped me in my journey of building Interactive Cares into a platform that truly makes a difference," he said.
Interactive Cares works in two segments: skill development and job placement. Mohiuddin Riad, brand and marketing lead of Interactive Cares, says, "At Interactive Cares, we collaborate with 110+ affiliated companies through our job placement services, corporate training, and hiring solutions. We connect businesses with top talent from our more than 0.5 million talent pool and provide custom upskilling programmes to enhance workforce capabilities." They have partnered with companies like Anwar Group, Brainstation 23, Astha IT, Best Electronics, MobyPay, NoApp, Auptimate, GoZayaan, and Praava Health, fostering career opportunities and workforce development.
While Interactive Cares offers a range of courses, i.e., Tech and Development -Laravel, PHP, MERN, Python, Flutter, DevOps., Data Science and Analytics- Data Science & ML, Data Analytics & Power BI, Advanced SQL with BigQuery&Metabase, Marketing and Business- Full Stack Digital Marketing, Digital Product Management, Entrepreneurship, Financial Modeling& Valuation, Study Abroad Preparation, and Soft Skills & Career Developments- Industry Readiness and Career Excellence, Microsoft Office, English Skills for Academic and Corporate Success, they offer this with a lucrative price package, ranges from BDT 1000-3000 for recorded classes and BDT 5,000-10,000 for live classes.
"Each career path programme includes free introductory courses, allowing learners to build foundational knowledge before committing to the full program," said Mohiuddin Riad. Generally, 200-1500 students graduate per batch, depending on the course, and over 15 per cent of their 'career path programme' graduates secure jobs, internships, or freelance work within 3-6 months of completing the programmes.
As for how much the company has grown over the years, the marketing team responded, "We have empowered 150,000+ learners across Bangladesh through career-focused education, provided job placement support to 110+ local and global companies, and organised training and workshops for various corporate and business entities." Mohiuddin Riad added, "We have achieved 300%+ growth in 2024, experiencing massive expansion across all aspects."
They have also hosted the biggest Web & Data Summit in 2025 in Dhaka, bringing together industry experts, innovators, and learners; developed AI-powered career tools and a user-friendly app, making career growth and skill-building more accessible; and got recognised as one of the Top 100 EdTech Companies in South Asia by HolonIQ in 2024.
When asked about the specialties of Interactive Cares, COO JamilaBupasha Khushbu said, "We have a special feature called 'support session.' Whenever you have issues even after a live class, you can get extra support. Additionally, we have job Preparation sessions daily, where anyone from any batch can join and ask questions to clear their doubts."
Mohiuddin Riad said, "We almost always get good feedback from our students. We even had some Bangladeshi students from abroad who took our courses and improved their skills. Additionally, we have some other Bengali-speaking audience, even from Kolkata." He also said about their ongoing improvement in the website and user interface, "We hope that within the next two or three months, we'll make the user experience a lot better on the website along with more AI features."
Writer also talked with Sajib Khan, a learner from Interactive Cares' Data Analytics & Power BI Career Path Batch 1, who is now working as a support instructor from Batch 2 onwards and currently serves as an Executive in the Data Analytics & Strategy team at a Renowned Ride Sharing Company. He said, "I recommend them because of their tremendous support, live classes, and daily job placement sessions. Many EdTech platforms do not offer live classes, but live sessions ensure real-time engagement, which is very beneficial. Additionally, their support sessions and technical sessions are highly effective. Also, their instructors are top-class."
"I had some knowledge about everything, but it wasn't organised properly. Here, everything is taught following a complete roadmap, which made a big difference," Sajib Khan added about his personal experience.
The brands Interactive Cares partnered with have spoken in favour of them as well. Md Mahmudur Rahman, CEO and Co-Founder of WEGRO, said, "A startup's most crucial point is to find the perfect employee. In this regard, Interactive Cares has been a great help to us. We see that Bangladesh has a large unemployed pool, but we cannot find skilled employees properly; this is where Interactive Cares helps students with different courses. Then, they choose skilled CVs from a very large pool to offer to partner companies. This is why we've got wonderful applicants from them."
In this fast-changing world, IT skills are a must and our country has started coping with that as well. The lead instructor Sumit Saha who is also the founder and CEO of 'Learn with Sumit' said, "In today's fast-changing work environment, mastering IT skills is more than a plus; it's a requirement."
As for how the students respond, instructor Hasin Hayder, who is also the founder of 'Learn with Hasin Hayder,' said, "I mostly receive positive feedback. Many students say my teaching helped them in their careers and interviews. Some struggled with a topic before but found clarity after my class." He also added that these classes help the students in the long run because he makes learning enjoyable by breaking down complex concepts into simple, relatable lessons.
CEO Rare Al Samir shares his vision for the next five years, saying, "In the next five years, I see Interactive Cares becoming the leading career-tech platform in Bangladesh while expanding globally. We aim to scale our AI-driven career solutions, corporate partnerships, and job placement programs to make industry-relevant skills accessible to millions."
"Beyond just numbers, we want to create impact-driven success stories-like one of our learners, a Class 10 student, who joined our Full Stack Web Development batch. Despite not even being in university, he is now working remotely for a foreign company and earning thousands of dollars through his skills," added Rare.
Interactive Cares is striving to make a change in our society by bridging the gap between educational institutions and workplaces by empowering students with skills and information. In this fast-changing world, endeavors like this are much needed, especially in a country where skillful workforces are rare.
