Four more children have died in suspected measles infections across the country in the past 24 hours, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
A total of 990 new suspected measles cases were reported during the period, raising the total number of suspected cases to 123,753 between March 15 and July 26, according to a DGHS press release issued on Sunday.
During the past 24 hours, 170 cases were laboratory confirmed, bringing the cumulative number of confirmed measles infections to 15,442 over the same period.
Meanwhile, dengue infections continued to rise, with 458 patients admitted to hospitals across the country and three deaths recorded between July 25 and July 26, according to the health directorate.
The latest figures raised this year's dengue death toll to 43.
