PM flies to China on July 1

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is set to leave Dhaka for Dalian on July 1 on a five-day official visit to China to attend the annual meeting of World Economic Forum (WEF) and hold bilateral meetings with top Chinese leaders, reports BSS.
The meeting titled "Annual Meeting of the New Champions 2019", also known as WEF Summer Davos, will take place in Chinese city of Dalian from July 1-3.
During the visit, the prime minister will hold bilateral talks with her Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang and call on Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing, Prime Minister's Office sources told the news agency Wednesday.
On July 2, the prime minister will attend the inaugural ceremony of the WEF Summer Davos at Dalian International Conference Center in the morning.
The theme of the summit is "Leadership 4.0 - Succeeding in a New Era of Globalisation".
Sheikh Hasina will meet Founder and Executive Chairman of World Economic Forum Klaus Schwab at his office and join a panel discussion on "Cooperation in the Pacific Rim" Dalian International Conference Centre in the afternoon.
