Primary school headmasters' salary elevated to 10th grade

Primary and Mass Education Ministry has issued an order upgrading the existing pay scale of headmasters of government primary schools to grade 10 in accordance with the National Pay Scale 2015, reports BSS.

A total of 65,502 headmasters will get salary under the 10th grade, said a press release of the ministry on Tuesday.

According to the order, those headmasters who are untrained must complete the Basic Training for Primary Teachers (BTPT) within 18 months from the date of issuance of the government order to get the grade.
