BB chief off to India to attend conference

A three-member delegation headed by Bangladesh Bank (BB) Governor Dr Ahsan H Mansur left Dhaka for India on Wednesday to attend a conference.
The high-level policy conference of central banks titled "Balancing Inflation and Growth: Perspectives from the Global South" will be held in Mumbai on November 20-22. It was scheduled to start on Wednesday evening.
The other members of the delegation are Dr Md Habibur Rahman, deputy governor of the Bangladesh Bank, and Dr Md Ezazul Islam, executive director (grade-1) of the banking regulator.
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI), which is the central bank of India, organised the conference marking the 90th year of its operations.
