EduHive to offer int'l courses for BD students

FE Report | April 16, 2022 00:00:00

EduHive, a local education technology or EdTech start-up, is set to offer a number of international courses for Bangladeshi students as it has recently inked a deal with a Hong Kong (HK)-based global platform.

Besides, the digital learning platform will also extend its footprints with educational contents in some other countries.

To this effect, EduHive finalised a strategic partnership with MommyDaddyMe-mommydaddyme.com, a global online platform connecting children, parents and educators, a statement said.

With this partnership, EduHive will introduce Bangladeshi academia with globally recognised Computational Thinking STEM -- Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics -- curriculum that originated at Stanford University in the USA. They will pilot this programme at selected schools before launching it nationwide.

In addition to the STEM curriculum, the partnership will introduce world renowned programmes created by Oxford University Press, Scholastic and Center for Talent Development at Northwestern University in Bangladesh.

EduHive, which has recently seen a boom in online education, will represent its partner in the fast-growing South Asian markets, including Bangladesh. Similarly, MommyDaddyMe will represent EduHive in South East Asian and other global markets.

Leslie Wang, co-founder of MommyDaddyMe, said the partnership will help both the platforms strengthen their positions among global EdTech companies.

"Our Stanford-originated STEM programme is one of the best in the world, it has been adopted by nearly 10,000 schools in Korea, a major university in Japan, thousands of schools in China, and more recently, by a New York City government agency in the United States," he said.
