An elderly woman was killed after falling off the rooftop of a three-story building in Paikpara area of Mirpur on Wednesday, reports UNB.
The dead is Mamtaz Begum (65), wife of late Waliullah Patwari.
Deceased's nephew Ariful Islam said Mamtaz fell down while she was watering plants on the rooftop.
She was rushed to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) where doctors declared her dead, said Bachchu Mia, in-charge of DMCH police out-post.
