Bangladesh will begin preliminary registration for the 2027 Hajj today (Monday) under a schedule announced by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, reports bdnew24.com.
The registration will remain open until Sept 24, in line with the roadmap issued by Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
The Bangladesh ministry said on Sunday that intending pilgrims can complete preliminary registration through either the government or private arrangements by depositing Tk 350,000.
Those registered at this stage must complete final registration by Dec 10 this year, paying the remaining package cost.
Before preliminary registration, pilgrims must first complete pre-registration by depositing Tk 30,000.
Anyone can register through the government's e-Hajj system (hajj.gov.bd) by creating a user account.
