Customs officials recovered foreign currencies worth around Tk 16.50 million at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) on Wednesday, reports UNB.
Sources at the airport said being tipped off, a team of Dhaka customs house conducted a drive at the export cargo village of the airport and recovered 6000 Saudi Riyal, 47,000 Dirham, 10,000 US dollars and 3000 Dinar worth around Tk 16.50 million (Tk 1.65 crore) at around 11:00 am.
