Two killed in Cox's Bazar road crash

CHATTOGRAM, Mar 26: Two persons were killed in a road accident at Baniarchara in Chakaria upazila of Cox's Bazar district on Thursday morning.

The accident took place after a motorcycle was rammed by a bus at Baniarchara on the Chattogram-Cox's Bazar highway in the early morning.

The deceased were identified as Shariful Islam (30) and Raisul Islam Shishir (30). Both of them were motorcycle riders and were coming to Cox's Bazar from Atipara at Uttarkhan in Dhaka.

Besides, another motorcycle rider travelling in the opposite direction (towards Chattogram) was also seriously injured when he lost control of his vehicle during the accident.
