Cartoons of Ghulam Azam, Quader Mollah, Nizami erased from Jagannath Hall

Satirical cartoons depicting Ghulam Azam, Abdul Quader Mollah and Motiur Rahman Nizami were erased from Dhaka University's Jagannath Hall citing security concerns.
The cartoons were painted on the floors of several entrances of the hall late on Saturday night, which the hall administration erased around 10:30 AM on Sunday.
Azam, Mollah and Nizami had been convicted of crimes committed during the Liberation War in 1971. Azam died in prison while serving a 90-year prison sentence in 2014, whereas Mollah and Nizami were hanged in 2013 and 2016, respectively.
Jagannath Hall Students' Parliament Vice-President Pallab Barman said, "Jagannath Hall was one of the worst-affected halls during the Liberation War. On December 14, the nation's finest sons were killed from this hall.
