RAJSHAHI, Sept 16: Police in a drive arrested the Rajshahi regional chief of outlawed militant organisation Hijbut Tahrir (HT) in the early hours of Wednesday.Â Â
The arrestee is Mahmudur Rashid Ovee. During the drive police also seized a large number of party leaflets, posters and electronics gadgets from a house at Terokhadia area of the city.
Anowar Ali, Inspector of Rajshahi Police Bureau of Investigation, said arrested Mahmudur Rashid was Rajshahi regional chief of the militant outfit organisation Hijbut Tahrir.
