BRAC Bank has marked its 25th anniversary with a landmark initiative to recognise the 25 Most Impactful Institutions in Bangladesh, celebrating organisations whose contributions have transformed lives, strengthened communities, and advanced socioeconomic progress.
Widely regarded as a first-of-its-kind corporate recognition initiative in Bangladesh, the programme honours institutions that have demonstrated exceptional commitment to public welfare, and national development, says a press statement.
The recognition forms part of BRAC Bank's silver jubilee celebrations and reflects the bank's enduring commitment to the values of service, integrity, inclusion, and positive social impact championed by its founder, Sir Fazle Hasan Abed.
The honoured institutions have made outstanding contributions across healthcare, education, social development, poverty alleviation, agriculture, employment generation, financial &technological innovation, sports, and arts &culture. Through their sustained efforts, these organisations have created lasting value for society and played a pivotal role in development journey of Bangladesh.
The selection process was conducted independently by a distinguished jury panel formed and supervised by English newspaper, The Business Standard. Going forward, BRAC Bank will continue to undertake scalable initiatives that generate even greater socio-economic impact and contribute to national development."

We are honoured to partner with BRAC Bank in this unique initiative and to ensure that the selection process was conducted independently, rigorously, and transparently. We hope this recognition will inspire organisations across Bangladesh to pursue excellence, integrity, and lasting social impact."
