City Insurance PLC was awarded the prestigious ICSB Gold Award for Corporate Governance Excellence in 'Non-life Insurance' category for the second consecutive year. Director Faizah Mehmood, along with Managing Director & CEO Md. Shamim Hossain, CFO Sheikh Azizul Haque, and Company Secretary Mohammed Ashaduzzaman Sarkar of City Insurance, received the award from Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed, adviser to the ministries of finance, commerce, and science & technology, at the award ceremony for the 11th ICSB National Award 2023, organised by the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) at a city hotel on Saturday.
