Sonar Bangla Insurance Ltd: A board meeting of the company will be held on July 14, 2020 at 3:30 PM to consider, among others, audited financial statements of the company for the first quarter and second quarter period ended on March 31, 2020 and June 30, 2020.

Apollo Ispat Complex Ltd: Credit Rating Agency of Bangladesh Limited (CRAB) has announced the entity rating of Apollo Ispat Complex Ltd as "BBB3" along with a stable outlook based on audited financial statements of the company up to 2019, bank liability (May 31, 2020) and other relevant quantitative as well as qualitative information up to the date of rating declaration.

Jamuna Bank Limited: Mr. Abu Khair Mohammed Sakhawat, one of the sponsors of Jamuna Bank Limited, has reported his intention to buy 6,15,000 shares of the Company at prevailing market price (in the public market) through DSE within next 30 working days.

Dhaka Bank Limited: Mrs. Rakhi Das Gupta, one of the sponsors of Dhaka Bank Limited, has reported her intention to buy 9,50,000 shares of the company at prevailing market price (in the public market) through stock exchange within next 30 working days.

Time extension

Rupali Life Insurance Company Ltd: BSEC extended time to Rupali Life Insurance Company Ltd up to September 04, 2020 for submission of audited financial statements for the year ended on December 31, 2019, un-audited/audited quarterly financial statements for the quarter ended on March 31, 2020 and the second quarter un-audited/audited financial statements for the quarter ended on June 30, 2020.

BSEC accords consent for

issuing perpetual bonds

Mutual Trust Bank Limited: Refer to their earlier news disseminated by CSE on 15.09.2019 regarding Issuance of Perpetual & 4th Subordinated Bond, Mutual Trust Bank Limited has further informed that BSEC has accorded consent under the provisions of the Securities and Exchange Commission (Private Placement of Debt Securities) Rules, 2012, for raising of Additional Tier-I capital by the bank amounting to Tk. 4,000.00 million only through issuance of Non-Convertible, Unsecured, Floating Rate Perpetual Bond through private placement in cash consideration. This consent has been accorded subject to NOC from Bangladesh Bank and compliance with the relevant laws and regulatory requirements and shall also adhere to the conditions by BSEC under Section-2CC of the Securities and Exchange Ordinance, 1969.

ONE Bank Ltd: Refer to their earlier news disseminated by CSE on 29.09.2019 regarding Issuance of Non-Convertible Perpetual Bond, ONE Bank Limited has further informed that that BSEC has accorded consent to issue Non-Convertible Perpetual Bond (at floating rate) for Tire-I Capital, Issue Size: Tk. 4.00 billion, Tenor: Non-Convertible Perpetual Bond and Use of Proceeds: The proceeds will be treated as Tire- 1 Capital and will help Bank grow its investment and loan portfolio.

Investment in BMRE

Bangladesh Building Systems Ltd: The board of directors has decided to invest Tk. 160.0 million in Balancing, Modernization, Rehabilitation and Expansion (BMRE) and setting up new machineries and factory shed of the company by sourcing finance from bank and own fund. The production capacity will be remained same.
