Mokammel Hoque reappointed as Union Bank MD

ABM Mokammel Hoque Chowdhury has been reappointed as the managing director (MD) of Union Bank Limited, said a press release.

Prior to the reappointment, he served the bank in the capacity of managing director from 2020. Before that, he was the additional managing director and deputy managing director of the bank.

Mr Chowdhury started his illustrious banking career as a probationary officer at First Security Islami Bank Limited in 2001 and later joined Union Bank Limited in 2013.

He gained well-grounded experience and knowledge through working in different capacities in different fields of banking including the head of branches and divisions during the last 23 years of his career.

He has participated in a good number of professional training, workshops and seminars both at home and abroad. He completed his MBA majoring in HRM.
