AL-ARAFAH ISLAMI BANK RECOMMENDS 15PC DIVIDEND

The Board of Directors of Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC has recommended 15 per cent dividend (10 per cent cash and 5 per cent stock) for its shareholders for the year ended on December 31, 2023. The decision was taken at the 399th meeting of the Board of Directors of the bank held on Thursday. Chairman of the bank Abdus Samad Labu presided over the meeting. The Board has also fixed August 18 as the date for the 29th Virtual Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the bank and June 9 as the record date. Abu Naser Mohammad Yeahea, Vice Chairman, along with other Directors Mohammad Abdus Salam, Mahbub Ahmed, Md. Abdul Hamid Miah, Ahamedul Hoque, Niaz Ahmed, Mohammad Emadur Rahman, Liakat Ali Chowdhury, Md Anowar Hossain, Nasir Uddin, Md Rafiqul Islam, Anwar Hossain, Md Kamrul Hasan Siddiqui, Quazi Osman Ali, AAM Zakaria, M Kamal Uddin Chowdhury, Mahbubul Alam, Managing Director and CEO Farman R Chowdhury and Company Secretary Mohammed Nizam Uddin Bhuiyan and other Senior Executives attended the meeting.
