Since joining Decathlon in 2014 as a Production Leader, Sayef has grown through the ranks by embracing challenges, cultivating innovation, and driving impact at both local and global levels. He brings with him over a decade of experience across sourcing, manufacturing excellence, and strategic partnerships -- including an international tenure as Purchase Director (Woven Apparel) in France, where he deepened his understanding of Decathlon's global ecosystem. In his new role, Sayef will lead Decathlon Bangladesh's end-to-end production strategy, overseeing supplier partnerships, sustainability practices, quality excellence, and industrial innovation across more than 70 supplier factories. Sayef's appointment comes at a pivotal moment, as Bangladesh strengthens its position as a key regional production hub for technical products, including textiles, sleeping bags, tents, footwear, and accessories, with over 100 million units manufactured in the country.
