EBL AND METLIFE RECOGNISE TOP BANCASSURANCE PERFORMERS

Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) and MetLife Bangladesh jointly recognised the top Bancassurance performers at the Bancassurance Awards Night & Kick Off 2026, celebrating excellence in delivering customer-centric insurance solutions. EBL is one of the Bancassurance partners of MetLife Bangladesh. The programme was organised to recognise the outstanding success of EBL's top-performing executives who played a pivotal role in promoting customer-centric insurance solutions. The event was attended by senior leadership from both organisations, including from EBL: Ali Reza Iftekhar, Managing Director; M. Khorshed Anowar, Deputy Managing Director & Head of Retail and SME Banking; and Sarmin Atik, EVP & Head of Wealth and Liability. From MetLife Bangladesh, attendees included Ala Ahmad, Chief Executive Officer; Jafar Sadeque Chowdhury, AMD & Chief Distribution Officer; and Savrina Arifin, Director & Head of Bancassurance.
