Midland Bank employees to receive insurance coverage from MetLife

Midland Bank PLC has signed an agreement with MetLife Bangladesh to provide insurance coverage for its employees and their dependents.

This partnership will ensure that nearly 600 permanent employees of Midland Bank are protected against accidents, disabilities, and loss of life. Additionally, their dependents will receive in-patient, outpatient, and maternity insurance coverage.

Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, Managing Director & CEO of Midland Bank, and Ala Ahmad, Chief Executive Officer of MetLife Bangladesh, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.

Midland Bank selected MetLife as its insurance provider due to MetLife's consistent track record of claims settlement, customized solutions, advanced dashboard, cashless hospitalization and ambulance service, and financial strength, which enables it to pay claims faster and without hassle.

Mr. Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman said: "We strongly believe that the insurance benefit for employees will enhance their sense of belonging and loyalty."
