Shahab Uddin Khan, Chairman of Zeeshan Group, has been elected new president of Korea-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KBCCI) for 2022-2024, says press release.
The new 15-member Board of Directors of the Chamber was elected at its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 2021 & 2022. The AGM was held at a city hotel recently, with its President Mostafa Kamal, also chairman of Meghna Group of Industries, in the chair.
DG of Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) Kim Dong Hyon and 1st Secretary of Korean Embassy Jungyoul Lee were present at the AGM.
After the AGM, the first board meeting was held and the new president and his team were elected by the Board.
Other elected office-bearers are Senior Vice President -- Jahangir Saadat, president of KEPZ, Vice president -- Ko Youngil, managing director of LG Bangladesh, Secretary General -- Million Park, managing director of MKP Designers Ltd, Treasurer -- Kim Dong Heon, country manager of Woori Bank, and Advisor -- Mostofa Kamal, chairman of MGI.
And the directors are Md Ruhul Alam Al Mahbub, chairman of Fair Group, Shahriar Kamal, managing director of Concord Group, Yong Oh Yu, managing director of Yu Lee Cap Ltd, KM Tanjib Ul Alam, Barrister, Tanjib Associates; CK Dey Chayan, managing director of Index Accessories, Edward Kim, Advisor, Korean Community; Shaikh Akber Hakim, managing director of Engineering Resource, AZM Azizur Rahman, chairman of Investor Services, Mohammad Shahidul Islam, managing director of HNS Group, and Shameem Ahsan Khan, managing director of Secura BD Ltd.
